MENTARI develops renewable energy sector in Indonesia to achieve its goals in delivering inclusive economic development and reduce poverty. To accomplish this, MENTARI and the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources conducted a joint study called Mobilising the Off-grid Power Supply in Indonesia to review and analyse the existing off-grid regulatory framework. It presents new approaches to developing rural electrification and lay out off-grid business model options that are feasible within the existing regulatory landscape.
